"After hearing what sounded exactly like a .25 caliber going off twice? "
That's exactly what's so frightening about this...you can't tell the difference between a gun & a poppin' fresh tube of dough.
Why the feck would you even consider posting this embarrassing story? It only confirms the moronic image you so carefully cultivate & project to everyone here at ST.

I think we are going to need have audio confirmation on this....
Go get another round of Pop n' Freshes, and set em up! We'd like to have video, as well. Since you have an idea of the missile trajectory, I suggest you also paste a life-sized Pillsbury Doughboy on the wall and get an idea as to how effective those cannons are.

Seems like a basic security camera system could keep innocent people from getting shot. If that South African athlete had a camera in his bathroom a tragedy could have been avoided, but it seems he actually wanted to shoot somebody. If an intruder is using your bathroom, and the door is closed, wait till they come out to pump the lead in.

I totally understand. I once heard our neighborhood Mountain Lion on my roof again and went ballistic. It's big so it makes a bit of more noise than our raccoon family. Plus Loki always goes nuts too. I am a bit over protective, Mama crazy these days...
I totally understand the reaction. Though now I have promised myself to
simply call the police since they are very effective here.

As to what guns sound like, I haven't really heard much. A few skeet shoots my grandpa went to, the occasional report from the various pistols and guns fired by my brothers and father(who was a bit of a collector), and hunter's rifles during deer season.
But even I knew it wasn't a gun when - but a week after a madman(who HAD had restraining orders out on him) threatened to shoot everyone at the (not going to insert the name of place, as I prefer it not come up in searches), when I heard "BLAM!" and then two more "BLAMMM's" at 3am, I knew it was too small a noise to be a firearm.
Not that I went out to investigate, mind you. I stayed hunkered in my little bed, hoping to hell if it WAS a marauder that Teddy wouldn't give us away if he happened by too closely...
But the next morning, when I found the burned tubes from some pretty big fireworks, I was glad I had not over-reacted.
I gotta find it hard to believe, given my OWN inexperienced ability to discern, that whatever caliber gun you mentioned sounds JUST LIKE the Pillsbury Doughboy's product getting ejected under pressure......
I WANT A REPLAY!!! Pleeeeze Ron... PLEASE go for an historic reenactment of the assault! It will be funny, I know it. (And I am not blaming you for jumping the gun there, on those muffins) Sorry - you HAD to know this thread would get the laughs. HAD to!

This thread desperately needs a 'shopped image of Ron standing over a tube of poppin' fresh dough in his flannel PJ's.

Thank goodness we'll always see you as a victim (of your own stupidity)
this from FartMetal, who is a kind and forgiving brotherly love sort of liberal who makes a Mormon elder look like a faggot.
Nyah, why don't you go back to kindergarten and learn to think before you post, you silly man?
I pity people like you, who don't know not to generalize when chastising, as if you know what's best in every sit.
Sit the f*#k down and shut mouth!

I made a grooved knob to replace the stock on my Stoeger 20 for an under the duster crowd pleaser.
Hey locker, the Kahr is not a double action, it is striker fired.
A good CCW piece, but poor home defender.
I've said this before; shotguns are for remaining in place and defending your loved ones. If you have to go through doors a long gun becomes a liability if you are not specially trained. You are better off with a long barreled handgun, 9mm minimum, equipped with a light (mandatory) and perhaps a laser as well.
And a real gun nut doesn't just use Hoppes #9 as after shave; he sprinkles some on his biscuits too.

You have a serious issue with attention-seeking behavior, Ron.
No doubt a lot of us have such inclinations, but yours are head & shoulders above the rest of us.
