Happy Birthday Jim! Hope you had a fantastic one.

I was a lucky teenager to get to know you, and luckier still to be mentored by you. One of your great lines back then..."the more you practice, the luckier you get" I was practicing hard back then, which I guess earned me your tutorship and friendship.

Your achievements in the mountains the last 20 years continue to inspire me as I still work to practice a lot and crank hard into my 50's.
