Well, I'm sorry to hear you don't get to be our favorite pink princess more often. Cadence can be a lot of fun, especially with her "Sunshine Sunshine" jig...
Shining Armor's a pretty good runner-up, though. Captain of the Guard, married to a Princess who is in charge of her own Crystal Empire, and generally pretty awesome in his own right.
Sadly, the only one I ever end up as is Derpy.

^^^^^^Look at the ass on that ass^^^^ if that's a female, that still makes me a heterosexual, right?
I jus got Rareity. She came with a saddle and a comb. I'm gonna ride
her around and comb her long pretty purple mane.

Reality has been discarded in this thread, and yet people continue to respond.
It must be a video-gamer thing,
this disassociation from reality.
Almost predictable at some point...
D'oh! I responded! Dammit! ;)

Truly stated, BLUEBLOCR. Truly stated.
It's interesting- when Rarity isn't being painted as a caricature for laughs, it's evident that she is quite a caring and generous sort. The Micro-Series Comic certainly emphasizes this... it's a shame that she gets a bad rap so often.
Unfortunately, given the increasing need to hyperpolarize within our society and correspondingly on this forum, Rarity cannot be counted as a candidate for Best Pony. Should I count your vote toward Rainbow Dash? I think Rarity would want it that way...

Ron-
I'm not sure those are ponies.
Though as they appear to be donkeys I suppose I could infer democratic-leaning overtones...
Shall I put you down as one vote for Rainbow Dash?

Gdavis - How do you find these pictures? Do you have the full set or something?
Also, they're a little out of date, while meant to be Twilight Sparkle, the guy's missing wings...

Spider Savage, Harry Potter? What a big rip-off of CS Lewis, JRR Tolkien and others and the guy with the comic book pre-Potter with most of the names and characters and the woman in Pennsylvania that could prove she had literary works pre-Potter with the similar names and characters?
But JK has and her publisher big bucks to fight these people. The comic book guy said something to the effect: "I can't fight these people, I do not have the money."
We all borrow, as writers, from others. Greek tragedies and comedies come to mind. But outright plagiarism? Or borrowing "quite heavily", as some do, hmmmm.

THE PHYSICS OF YOUR LITTLE PONY ARE HIGHLY SUSPECT.
It's not real, any of this.
But suppose they were real splashy, sparkly little critters:
What colors would each pony's road apples be?
How often would they need to be re-shod?
Can ponies with small wings be expected to stay airborne and for how long?

Patrick Sawyer - What's this about? I hope what you say is untrue, but it's clearly time for me to review the evidence. I only hope Rowling didn't get her cutie mark in plagiarism...

I have my hypothesis that every pony is actually composed of marshmallows.
They eat strictly plants, but somehow their feces are composed entirely of Dark Matter.
Going by this theory their road apples would be the color of The Void.
Being marshmallows, shodding is probably not even an issue. When a hoof gets worn out they likely cut it off, turn it into smores and grow a new one. I suspect that those with the especially small wings, like Scootaloo, would not be able to achieve lift-off, but may use them for some sort of propulsion, like Tails from Sonic.
Though some ponies with small wings may flap them 12-80 times a second in order to fly, like a hummingbird. (While "Empty".)
This of course begs the question of which could flap their wings faster, Rainbow Dash or Applejack.
'm going to bet that Rainbow Dash would be quicker.

Not to be speciesist, but it does seem as though dragons make far better mechanics. Though I'm not sure Spike here is doing it right...
