The difference is that most people who voted for Obama chose him because they actually liked him, vs. Romney, who was by far the least desirable choice for Republicans during the primaries. The great majority of those who voted for Romney did so simply because he wasn't Obama...not because they actually liked him as a candidate.

It's 3 am in Japan and the inauguration just finished over here. I watched it on my computer.
Even though the symbolism was heavy - a Black president beginning a second term on Martin Luther King Day 150 years after the Civil War with an invocation by Merlie Evers, I was happy to see that President Obama seemed very happy and much more relaxed this time around.
Like many, I hope he has the confidence to fight back on our behalf with greater energy this term. The whole world wanted him to win the election and are rejoicing today along with us.

In a way we should enjoy Dungholes pathetic excuses for photoshopped images. As you point out they are nothing other than juvenile. Thus that fact that what we believe is 180 to his mis-founded (and soon to be dead) belief system is a reason to embrace him. Gives you the "i'm not like him and that's a dam good thing" perspective.
