Pellucidwombat's DEER route was one of the most unique so I really enjoyed that one.
Superbalance was just plain epic.
If you're into that sort of thing was written creatively and fun to read.
Micronut's new years eve TR because I love the pumped weekend warrior spirit and his writing is always entertaining.
This poll needs categories!
Edit: +1 for Tenaya Lake FA!!!!

What this thread reminds me of is how many good trip reports we've had in the last year! I think there are many good ones floating out there that I haven't made time to read yet.

I thought the level of TR really bumped up last year, there were a lot of good ones.

Superbalance? YGBSM
That TR was about a couple of whiners always complaining about -20 temperatures 4,000 feet up a big wall in the arctic.
It gets my vote.

Tossup for me between Jane Gallwey's two wall solo TRs: Prow and LF. The Prow TR was eloquent about being alone up there, the pull of the ground, and the daily evaluations of high points and low. Inspiring stuff for me.

Yeah, Superbalance blewhu my mihind. Gets my vote for hardness.
Hudon's Iron Hawk Solo gets my vote for heartfelt epic.
Roadie moved me with his style and sincerity and heaviness.
Snowhazed's The Psyche Must Flow get my stoke award.
I really enjoyed writing my New Year's Eve on Half Dome and Mark Hudon is a Liar reports. Thanks for all those that enjoyed and commented on them.
Limpingcrab's adventures are always a treat.
Vitaliy was on a super adventure roll this year and his reports rock.
Pellucid must have a finger cramp from all those shutter clicks and all that mouse work. His stuff is a legacy of info for sure.
So many other great ones. Thanks for keeping the stoke alive all you TR writers. Keep em coming in 2013. I have a great one in the works about a family trip to a mysterious granite formation in Central Cal once used for human sacrifice. Stay tuned.

1) Anything by Micronut.
2) Jane Gallway's Lurking Fear TR
3) Yellow Mungzu's Zodiac TR
Not just great climbing, but great writing (without all the spelling and grammer errors that seem so prevalent among Americans... spellcheck is so easy to use)

I really liked the Autistic boy on Half Dome and Half Dome With My Daughter.
Also, Jane solo on El Cap.
Lots of inspiring and incredible charging TRs this year, for sure.
