Quinoa is good, but sometimes I'll throw some bacon in mine.
There's cake? I like Cake.

I read on Supertopo that grinding up and eating cute little bunny rabbits does wonders for greater mammals.
Does ground bunny taste like jellybean?

I don't know Ekat well, but everything I have heard about her and know about her is that all of her life she has worked hard and played hard. She use to race motocross, she surfed competitively, she climbs and she does long distance cross country skiing among other things. If she is looking for a supplement,, it is to round things out. She isn't looking for some magic pill.

I'm sure that ekat doesn't need a magic pill, I'll bet she can kick my butt. Sorry for the thread drift, just wanted to make a statement about a pet peev of mine concerning the average American.

Thats cool Jim. I just wanted to make certain that you weren't lumping the indomitable Ekat into that tub of mash that makes up the average American. She is above average by far.

I use Met-Rx Plus for muscle recovery and building.
High in L-Glutamine, it's a great source for this amino acid.
Mix it with your favorite fruit and ice or non-fat milk, ice tea or lemonade (no sugery drinks)
It provides an obvious energy boost for hours after exercise.
Been using it for years.

if you want a thicker smoother then freeze your fruits and use them. frozen bananas are particularly nice (when they are not frozen they make it kinda frothy).
I noticed GDavis point out the merits of hemp protein. I find it odd though that he suggested a multi-vitamin given all the other things he suggested. Get your nutrition through whole foods.
The only reason I'm doing any suppliments now is to specifically address the disk degeneration in my neck. It seems to be helping a lot.
