squishy - $1,000.00 ?!??!!?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
funny joke...

I was quoting the thread that I left a link to in my OP! So take it up with them, maybe ya cud save yerself a few bucks! Perhaps they be a few bucks cheaper in Kazakistan than here in Amerurika, eh?

"Drones which can wiegh just a few kilograms and cost between $1,000.00 and $40,000.00 ..."

edi: regardless, they are a lot cheaper than the 4M price tag on the Predator Drone that was shot down over Iran recently.

@TheAlpine - Yea, thanks for posting the vid, i looked for it but could'nt locate it.

This is the first I've heard of a drone being used for something other than military/assasination or security/surveillance. Who would imagine these frightening machines could be used to make such cool videos.

Not legal to use there, because everything 200' above the Valley floor is wilderness, and it's a motorized vehicle.

You ARE getting really good at it! Congrats!!

I would have given an arm & a leg (well, maybe a toe) for one of those @40 years ago. When I was in high school my best friends brother-in-law lived up in Crest, Ca outside of San Diego. And down in the canyon, just below his house on the hill, there was this nudist colony (The Swallows). We use to go into his backyard and squint for hours through his binoculars. lol

One time we actually went down and parked across the street from it and watched the people come and go for about an hour. A bunch of really good looking college aged hippy chicks, etc!

Splitter recons the Sunny Daze Colony! That's just the same thing I was thinking, that it beats a hidden knot-hole in the fence.

Unless the Sunny Daze residents arm themselves.

I want to use one when the next police riot breaks out. I'm sure its against the law to film cops beating citizens though. Something about national security. lol
