Cheney Break --When the fast hikers get up and take off as soon as the slow hikers arrive, not giving them a chance to rest.

Developed in my circle of backpacking friends. After Dick Cheney who's personal interests and pleasures are more important than his hunting partner's safety.

Nice so far - this whole thing was inspired by my memory of the Verm's "Scottrope" reference cited here:

Not mine, but in the small circle of friends.

Bitch-Clip

When the draws have been hung up, and you are way below the point where you could put the draw on the bolt. Nonetheless, you reach as high as you can to clip the rope into the pre-hung draw, regardless of whether the previous one is in your armpit or not.

Tard climb: find your own definition.

Tard climber: worse than the n00b, this guy just doesn't get it after all the 'experience' he has had, which he's glad to tell you of. 'My friend, Nellie, is gonna luv it that we did his route. Can't wait to tell him.'

Cruxified. (Adjective) Stemmed out on thin stuff, two feet below your next clip and 12 above your last. Frozen, nailed up and not moving. Unwilling to downclimb. Unable to go up. Unwilling to take the 24-foot yip. Royally screwed nine ways to Sunday. Crux-i-fied.

Attitude Sickness - A state of complaining and grumbling. Often associated with carrying a heavy pack, and where the victim is well under an altitude to develop any real danger of altitude sickness. One of the side effects of this condition is a certainty that your partners pack is much lighter than yours.
