oh you gals and guys,
it is exhausting stomping my melancholic boots
on your lawn.
i see here in legg's pretty post
of enjoying life,
tales of beer in meadows,
climbing trips,
swollen sandwhiches,
sunrises, blue skies,
decadent desserts,
blooming deserts..
general glee and good buzz....
though i think that i know my crew among us better than that.
the light and fluffly life is crucial to enjoyment, yes.
but the disaster aspects must bludgeon us frequently
or else we lose perspective and appreciation for the times
when we are merely free-falling towards our death.
gawdamn sometimes we have to struggle to die.
it aint a given, and it should not be.
our's genetic substance is perched precariously on
the sharp edge of domesticaion.
go club yourself.
head up a mountain under-prepared.
par down your rack.
pack beers in place of water.
earn your death and enjoy the taxing journey.
enjoy death.
oh my god i need a religion to pacify my angst

t*r tried that and only the outcome
was reciprocal of it's intention....
"i was slightly off sane the other night
and upon a wild whim i stopped by the
catholic church and inquired inside
about soul court.
"excuse me?" the nice lady with totally concealed cleavage responded.
"i guess you call it confession," i confessed.
with a not-so-hospitable glance,
the lady told me that a priest would see me in 30 minutes, and to have a seat.
"thank you." i politely rebounded.
i didn't sit though,
i ran out to my rig,
dove into the riew view mirror and
proceeded to rewrite today's shadow, that being forever.
i shifted my hair-part 10 degrees towards my heart,
effectively combing over the horribly sunburned and peeling
scalpline parting my halo.
then i washed behind my eyelids.
you ever try to do this?
roll your eye garment back on itself and
scrub the raw flesh that never sees
the proper world,
yet into this your eyes peer all the while asleep,
and while dreaming within blinks,
so i figgured if i scrubbed my physical unconcious,
that being the asse end of my eyelid, then i'd be
nearer to holy.
then i slammed three coors light,
because my mom just bought me these striped summer shorts,
and i was kinda nervous about them
(im 37 and my mom still buys me shorts)
then i strolled, or rather wobbled inside
and into the dark closet i delved.
i sat there for 3 hours with
Father Cause (im not sure how to spell his name, though it was pronounced as such)
and we got into a great verbal exchange,
to be honest it wasnt much different than the banter
that you and i spill on the collar of nice shirts,
and in the end, now that i reflect back,
i do believe that i more corrupted him and his stable views,
than he steered me upon his committed stupidity.
and honestly, after our 3 hour bout,
we travelled down to the liar's bench and he bought me
3 rounds of draft.
oh the irony of salvation. "

Norwegian, it is because of horrific, traumatic experiences that made me start this thread. There are times when I am filled with the fear of flying, times when I'm filled with light ... Everyday is a day I appreciate, despite fear, and esp because I am lucky enough to wake everyday....
t*r ~ no worries... ever. I WILL email back... thank you for the wonderful message.
Reilly... heal up. Stop drinking Starbucks. Shop local, dude. :)
