Juanito...I only wish I WAS there, I had dinner with the McClennehan's just a few days prior to the event and I told Roy "Man someone better be there to document this...it is historic in climbing nature, never again will so many great climbers from that era be together again!" You did a fantasic job with many memories left for us "old farts" who can't remember as much. Even for those who weren't in attendance, you have given a chance to see how all those friends look these days and that those friendships are still as strong or stronger than when formed 20, 30 or 40 years ago. A BIG thanks for what ever you did to freeze the moment in time!

By the way, anyone who would like a print of him/herself from the 4x5 shots should email me at john@johnmireles.com. I'll be happy to send out a print. It may take a little while though so please be patient.

John,

I went to the site for the photos and all it would show were 18. Is there something I am missing here.

Thanks,
Peter

Oooh, Vogel's is really good. Excellent expression, sketchy. YOu could write a book about that photo.

Oh, and FWIW, I am thoroughly enjoying the copies of Curlie, Largo, and I that she gave me for my birthday. :) It was money well spent.
