I'm going to be sending Mussy and the Boss some goodies. For some reason I thought the challenge only lasted a week. I think I better wait on the goodies.

Thanks Nature but if they're goodies in that care package I prefer if you sabotage the opponents!

Glad to hear that everyone is down. What a bunch of garbage. Last year only 2 people (Russ & Ray) even won the thing. Russ had to run Ryan Mountain the night before to drop the last .4 pounds and poor Ray had to pull cable in a 200 degree attic for an hour!

Mini, I think a tapeworm constitutes "extreme dieting" yet for that matter... Greg's less that 1,000 cals a day seems pretty extreme too. How can a man your size function with so little fuel?

19 days and counting........

eat up suckers!!

Mussy is the master of the mystery regimen...I think he follows the path of the Regimen Sanitatis Salernitanum, a 12 century poem describing how to stay healthy:

If you want to be healthy, if you want to remain sound,
Take away your heavy cares, and refain from anger,
Be sparing of undiluted wine, eat little, get up
After eating fine food, avoid afternoon naps,
Do not retain your urine nor tightly compress your anus.
Do these things well, and you shall live along time.

Swweeeeeet action, brah...

Don't clamp them sphincters!

If you guys really wanted to send this thing and really really get healthy you'd spend the month doing a raw foods cleanse. Finish it up with a five day fast and you'd flash the challenge.

I've done the cleanse a few times and the last time it was for the month. If I had had any weight to lose I'm sure I would have.

Nothing like a psylium husk and bentonite shake in the moring to keep them pipes clear. Once you get into the fast you end up "pounding" those shaked once ever few hours to make your stomach not cramp up. Ever see a 2 and a half foot long grey coiler moaned out? It's a site I tell ya! back that baby up with a coffee enima and SHAZAM! you feel like a million bucks.

"How would you like your morning coffee, sir?"
"Uh... Up my butt?"

Completely unrelated--except look at the size of that guy's pie hole...

Yeah... that pie hole can shove three sushi rolls in at once. I'd tell one of those "no sh#t there I was watching mussy stuff his hole" stories but he might not like that.

So... how are you lard asses doing now?!?! *quack*

How many folks are involved? I'm considering upping the ante. One dozen of nature's soon-to-be-world-famous vegan chocolate chip cookies to each and every lard butt that wins.

I'm right where I need to be... don't want to peak too early.

That all-you-can-eat buffet in Vegas is still living in my hoses... when I drop that ingot, I bet I'm under the wire.

Man, I'm down 6 bucks...

last night, near last hand:

Mini: Q9
Candyman: 4 6?
French: K 3
Tommy?
other Tommy?
Neil?

50 chips in pot preflop with these sweet ass hands...

Flop: 3 9 4

Mini moves all in with 99 chips. Is called by Candyman with say 45 chips, which induces call by French (as if he needs inducement?) with about 80 chips . Mini has these clowns covered and handled...

Turn: Q

Mini has top two pair and smugly begins the Lon Chaney on the giant pot

River: 3

French wobbles to his feet, sputtering like a senile old goemetry teacher/gambling maniac and scoops with his river save trip 3s.

Sweeeeeeet action.

Mini later moved all in with his remaining 17 chips with 7 9 diamonds and rivered out a flush and the straight (take yer pick, losers...) to crawl back to only $6 down.

Candyman chucked in the standard $80 and didn't seem to enjoy it as much as so many of the other times...

oh, and I need to drop 2.2 lbs... This diet challenge is idiotic!

hahaha! Home games will make you lose weight. Watching all that bad play will wither a body and soul in no time.

Went to Vegas... gambled ZERO! Too old and tired. After doing the crags and dinner I'm dust.

On the way out stopped at Searchlight (look it up adventurers) for the Railroad, Whistlestop, BunkCar, something Casino. They advertise a poker room. Friday night, 8:30.... 3 tables. Zero players. Me and 'the Sooze" go talk to the brush.... he says "sit down and play"... Sooze says "what, heads up? That ought to be lucrative for us...". Went to the Cafe instead. Came back an hour later.... 3 players total in the room, waiting, all lonely style, probably all from the same tour bus or family. Weak action man.

Two sunday's ago at my buddies NL $5 tourney I'm catching nothing all night. First game The only had I play is KK. I'm up against AA and was busted.

Next game I start to get desperate. I play 79s and manage to flop two pair for a win. I don't remember what handed I busted out on but I had a good one and got clobbered anyway. I rebought back into that. A few hands later I see KK again. I push, AA calls. I'm out the front door before the river turns.

I hate poker.

Ho man. No sh#t...there were some serious swings of fortune...Tommy was all in on the flop for over 100 with AA and got called by Candyman AND Nelly when a king flopped. They held K 4 and K 6 I think? You and SOOooozan gotta try to make it up for Montysano's birthday fest this weekened. Game friday and Saturday, minimum. Plus, I'll be shuttling packs for free into and out of the Gorge or Druid Stones to make weight...

Mussy,

Searchlight is that small town where we got gas and the two dudes were "discussing lack of respect" in the parking lot.

The el fantastico casino with the 3 table poker room and no players was http://www.railroadpass.com/casino/

How 'bout that place? The baked potato with my prime rib put me up a pound I'm sure of it.

Nature,

Diet Challenge update.....down 7 before Vegas, down 6 after Fossil party at Josh & Vegas combined.

Got's to get moving to drop the last 4. Can't have the Steelmonkey be winner takes all!

Min-ster,

No can do, even though I'm confident we can make up the price of gas on our winnings. Too Damn busy. As you know, those ledges don't sew themselves.

Hey next time, how 'bout a bit more notice? Better yet, you guys can carpool in EuroBrief's van to J-Tree for a game there.
