I wonder if Madonna took him home, he's better looking than Dennis Rodman.

She did give him props after he dismounted. And she gave him a peck on the cheek when he started...She seemed to be aware that he was very good, and acknowledged that.

Way to go Sketchy Andy! Recognized you immediately. Hope you get some good pay to spend more time with your posse of slackers slacklineing some good crags.

After seeing the movie at Facelift about Sketchy Andy and sometimes having to look down to keep from getting sick the guy is my hero. I can still visualize the scene where he runs down a slope, takes a leap and smashes his head into a tree and wop, flop rolls on the ground.

Perhaps after this Supe Bowl adventure we can rename him Sketchy Andy the Rodman?

Wish I owned some stock in slackline companies or modern day kilts.

I hope he gets the credit he deserves, I've seen a number of sites talk about her performance with Cirque de Soleil and I was like....uh no, that's a slack liner!

Cool that he stayed onstage and did all the shuffle choreography even after his segment. And he was the only one to get a kiss from Madonna. Not a bad night for Andy. Exposure beyond anyone's wildest dreams. He killed!

He's the only person to have total attention away from Madonna herself during a performance watched by hundreds of millions of people. That's HUGE.

Good for him.

Speaking of Andy deserving some credit and exposure for his contribution to the half time show, I'd like to share some credit to the drum line. The drummers on stage were not actually technically playing. They were playing muffled drums to sync with a prerecorded track of the 2011 Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps (Allentown, PA) drum line recorded last summer. The Cadets are the current Drum Corps International champions, having won the title back in August (interestingly, on the same field as this year's Super Bowl). Some of you may remember seeing them perform in President Obama's inauguration parade or prior to one of his televised speeches a year or two ago. 2011 was their 77th year of competition and their 11th championship since DCI was founded in 1972.

Here's one of their promotional videos:

Holy crap! I had no idea SA was going to be on it! I don't follow TV sports so I wasn't watching the S. Bowl & missed it. Anyone capture video of that?

Oops, never mind. Just found it on Yutoob.

Cragman, I disagree. I thought the whole HT show was great, the highlight being the slackline of course. I started freaking out at my neighbors house when he came on. "I flamed that guy on the Taco once..." ;)

Cheers to Sketchy. Be above the fray dude.

Pretty sure she is a red dot, not a feather or a sister.

But this is america, you can lump all those "people" together for all we care.

Pretty cool Andy made it to the show, I guess you do enough stuff naked, Pimp it everywhere you can, you can make it.

Too funny!!! And some good suggestions. Could Tami hook him up with some other performers or an agent? I've heard of the guy below. I believe he went on to train Cirque performers. Could be a sweet part time gig.

Finally, only problem I see is, with that much exposure, my wife seemed interested in meeting him. I didn't spend much time looking at the photo, but was his foot on the rim when he was "tethered"?
