Mussy Nebulies, Scumbags, PMBs and all other riff-raff-

Can you all please help with saving Santee Boulders and preserving the climbing history? It is such a wonderful resource to the community. I know you all have history at this great location. Thank you.

This may sound stupid, but do you need something extra when scanning slides or do you scan them directly?

Thanks for any input, computer retard

just finished a 5 hour epic involving HP customer support in india (my rep has bagged some minor summits in the himmies), a trip to sam's club, two trips to staples, lots of espresso, several data recovery procedures on my PC, gazillons of error messages resolved through web searches and HP customer support (in india, of course...she sounded hot and hspoke perfect english, i'd do her, sight unseen.....and now....i am about to attempt to scan a slide.

wish me luck, brothers and sisters. whatever happens, i'm drinking whisky and eatin' sushi at 5:45pm, and it's 5:16 now...

F10:
A slide scanner will typicaly be purchased separately from a regular flatbead photo scanner. Its a bit more sophisticated.

It will have it's own software disc, which installs an application which then interfaces with a photo editing program.

I recall you are Mac? so different applications from PC, but likely same order.

ie: slide scanner>intermediate software>photo editing software>photobucket.

Hey, is that Dave Robinson in red lycra? Is this image circa '86/'87?

I wonder what Dave is doing these days? Last I heard he moved up to SLC Utah? Damn good climber - very gifted.

But I have to admit, my pink lycra looks better.

Great shot of the Voice...Anyone know Little Al's current whereabouts? Would be great if he could be pursuaded to come and be harassed at KP's.
