If Communism is such a threat, why are only five nations of about 200 Communist? (Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea, Peoples Republic of China, Republic of Cuba, Lao Peoples Democratic Republic, and Socialist Republic of Vietnam) If you think the PRC is communist in other than name only, you are wrong.
I don't get what you are trying to say.

Sorry, Gene, I kinda illucidated that earlier but didn't expound upon it. There are many fingers in the hand of 'communism'.
Basically, it ain't called communism anymore because most Western countries roundly reject it, and the commies know this.
Now it's called a progressive movement. Just look at Obama.

as far as I know, Blue, it isn't illegal to advocate for the peaceful overthrow of the government...
Nor peaceful assembly, Ed, I'm glad you acknowledge that.
As for Russia, China? They aren't really commie anymoe. Eastern Europe, Coz? Been to Yugoslavia in the late 70's, but it ain't the same, bra!
You people make the mistake of trying to pin down avowed communist states of the past with ones arising. And you make the mistake of focusing on the c-word. Maybe that was my fault initially, but I also mentioned fascist state-ism.
Don't focus on the word defined in the dictionary. Look at the rule of law and the rules of the State!
Communism, fascism, and whatever is never the same. It almost always is implememted differently. Maybe totalitarianism is better?
I think you people know what I mean yet you'd rather mince words from the past to brush off reality.

How will we know if we are fascists? Or commies? Or other things you speak of? What are the quantifiable characteristics we can point to and say "holy moly! it's here!" or "crap, I became a fascist when I wasn't even looking?
