@altieboo. I will message you when the trip report is done. Also, if you were to follow the bolt ladder through the roof, I doubt that will ever get freed. But I am often wrong, and who knows, someone may climb 5.18 someday.

I could care less what race or color you are. Your a human being. Thats what counts. Who gives a sh#t about Amurican Patriotism. I'm for the HUMAN RACE. WE ARE ALL THE SAME. GO PLANET EARTH! WE KICK ASS!

Anyways, yes the bolt ladder is not the free variation. Matt Wilder freed the route in 2002. The free variation goes at V10 and is farther left from the bolt ladder.

I just finished the trip report. I got sloppy towards the end because I am so tired. I hope you are able to jump on the SF of the Column; it is so much fun.

A lot of climbers are progressive because they are educated, they know the importance of protecting the environment, they understand that we are all in this together and society needs to provide a saftey net for the less fortunate, and they aren't willing to trash the Earth because, what the hell, the "Rapture" is just around the corner.

//Here is what "some people" claim is progressive and intellectual thought:

White people are responsible for most of the evil in the world.

I dont think that Donini is implying that by any means. Its a statement of truth. Who created slavery? Whites. Nuff said.

EDIT: Slavery in our country. Slavery, obviously was around much longer which is where the notion came from.

Fortunately I will also be the FIRST to admit that. But that is the oh so great thing about open forums, debate, conversation and campfires. To spew non sense, get called out, call out, learn, shift thinking and have a good time.

But you probably wouldnt agree with that either. Nooo. Campfires are for smores and smores alone.

On a serious note, I still don't know what a troll is. Is it related to climbing community or specific to the cyber community or both? I have never heard someone use that term.

Skipt, you're such a petty little sh#t. I hope that the hard on you have for me isn't the only one you're capable of. Let's go climbing bro!

Perhaps to have an opportunity to climb with a prolific figure in the history of climbing? Oh wait. Being humbled and honored isn't good enough for some folk. No. You need to beat the sh#t out of hippies to feel good about the day.

That's how I roll..

And ask yourself who sold us those slaves you were so concerned about. Irish nuns? No.

It's really off-topic, but for the record they were sold by Muslim oppressors of North Africa. Sure, we bought, but let's keep sh#t in context.

Speaking of the Irish, weren't they refered to as "white niggers" when first stepping foot on this soil?

Nah, it was my Italian brothers. But it's cool, we rolled with it and assimilated. We're still greasy (the genes), but this is home now.

The Kikes, Niggers, Spics, and Irish gotta get in line. Oh, I left out the Gooks and Japs.

Whatever. You're an American when you identify primarily with this country first, and your heritage second.

Doesn't matter where ya came from. Where do you wanna go?
