Yeah, I noticed that, and ignored it. In fact, you cherry-picked by selecting a particular activity he might have engaged in during his vacation days- who gives a sh#t? Really, the argument about # of POTUS vacation days is kinda stooopid to begin with, and is made all the dumber by splitting hairs about what they did on their days off.
Would you have liked Obama any better if he spent his days-off doing taxidermy? Would I have liked Shrub any better if he spent his days-off climbing? Nope on both counts.

Ron, why don't you point out how many pure hours, days, Reagan spent riding his horses,
OR point out how many days, weeks, pure time Bush spend riding his mountain bike?
And yes, Ron, all Presidents who had pets had them accompany them on Air Force One.
Remember "Barney", Bush's dog, he flew on Air Force One.
Why is this supposed to be an "issue", Ron?
A President is not allowed to take time off to ride horses or mountain bikes or play golf?
I admire your sense of fair play, Ron, and your non partisanship, you are a true Independent I can tell, treating all Presidents fairly and equally. Thank you

Ron, every inauguration has been a record amount. Why.. because costs go up. What was misleading about the Obama inauguration is that the media added in the amount spent on security, whereas in years past, that amounts wasn't added in. So the jump from 42 million spent for Bush to 160 million spent on Obama, made Obama's inaugaration look ridiculous. Yet what was left out was the 115 million spent on security for Bush's inauguration.
Seems kind of pissy to me that this was done.

I just think it was a shame how it was spun. The media said.. Obama spent 4 times as much as Bush. No he didn't. That was a lie. He spent maybe a few million more.
I do agree the whole thing is overdone, but I think that of every inauguration.
Obama did have record numbers of people show up at his, so much of the security was needed. Plus it is funny how those figures are made up. Most of those people would have been paid anyways. The military and police all are going to be paid. The only real addition is for overtime, plus extra man hours.

I understand what you're getting at Ron, but those expenditures are a drop in the bucket.
If your beef is with spending there are bigger dragons to slay.
If not, then your beef is with Obama and you're just spinning facts so suit your opinions, as others have stated.

Hawaii is not a US State, the Muslim Obama was born in Kenya, or was it Indonesia?
And neither is the Panama Canal Zone, where John McCain was born.
And New Mexico, where I live, is a northern territory of Mexico.

What exactly do you not understand about an "Independent"?
The very definition means they are not a "registered" member of ANY political party.
An Independent votes for Democrats, Republicans, or Libertarians, or any other person or political party they choose to, at that point in time, during whatever election.
How does your definition of a political "Independent" differ from the above, Blue?
