Earlier this year Townsend Brown went up there with a partner. He related that the route was dirty- he was pulling hummock and bushes out of the 5.11 pitches. Some of the 5.11 felt more like 5.12- this may be because of the dirt though. The all-time finger crack pitch was really good, and "the leap" isn't really a huge leap but a long span from a crack to a face hold- 5.12 but not impossible. They climbed the route with some falls twenty hours car to car. The route is an adventure.

It was Townsend and I. Car-to-car(half dome parking lot) in 20:12. Time spent climbing ~12:30. I had to place pins on pitch 11 & one at the start of pitch 13.

It was an adult route. The free ratings were real.

I checked it out from the top down to the base of the 5.12 finger crack in June 2006 and replaced a few bolts.
