Figures that some roped stoppers would make it. But surprised that the British lightweight didn't as everything else aside, it's just got so much character...

but hell, that's the n00b talking.

Nice pics and thanks for sharing!

Yes! psyched to see a big route in Tahoe. doesn't have to be that good a quality to be awesome adventure considering the stunning location.

Awesome looking route.

Good is in the eye of the climber. Looks like a great day out to me.
Thanks for sharing!

Anyone got topos or can do a quick overlay of where some of the other routes are on Maggies. Been up there a couple times and you never know what you're climbing.

what yer climbing 100 foot pitches ron ? lets see the topo, must have!!!!
"buzzards gotta eat and so do worms"

i see "rare gem" by summner/ todd. hmmm... nine pitches.
then theres the indirect route. summner says rare gem is the longest route in his guide. i climbed that wall with jay sell and we managed five and a half pitches. soon to check it out again.
thanks for the inspiration ron!

Hey Ron-

As the photos show, there are some great ledges to hang out and soak up the scenery.

so a good bivy would be after the second pitch
you can dig in anywhere Ron.
just bring your helmet and wear it all night.
being a charter member of the norwiegian alpine dining club i prefer
hot mustards and cold fish chased with ice cold patron and copious beers.
a good bivy depends on the pantry!
i havent seen any frogs either. and minimal kitty litter for mr dillie.
