Then I guess Korans make good targets as well.
Yeah, but in some countries that'll get you killed apparently.

Barbaric islamicists.
Now we will see over the next few days to weeks just how many moderates - moderate Muslims that is - step forward to condemn this Islamic "fundamentalism."
.....
This site needs a couple of Muslims - say, for instance, one moderate and one fundamentalist - that could be at once informative and entertaining.
Even a couple of avatars would do, any volunteers? Muhammad Rushdie and...
.....
Food for thought:
Are fundamentalist Muslims (cf: fundamentalist Christians) who publically say, for instance, infidels are enemies of God and should be smited a danger? Should they, would they, be involuntarily committed with a 5150? What about freedom of religion? Hmm...
I guess it's a good thing this issue doesn't come up much - here in mostly Christian America. God bless...

The crazies in Afghanistan are obviously followers of the crazy in Florida and are trying to prove his "point."

They're here. I climb with one on a regular basis. I'll let him identify himself. He's been posting today.
Oh, and he's of the moderate sort.

99% of Muslims are no different than 99% Christians as far as their everyday interactions.

Just had an idea,
If ever this avatar dies, its spirit might just come back as... Abdul Hussein Saquib ("Shining Star" of Yosemite and Islamic fundamentalist)... just to mix things up a bit around here.

Yeah, right,
(1) as long as infidels aren't around, and
(2) sure, Islam is a peaceful religion.

Blah blah blah.
1) You ever actually read the Bible?
2) How many Muslims do you actually know?

If that blah blah is directed to me... 1) if you only knew...
2) How many Muslims do you actually know?
In the 1980s, in my undergraduate electrical engineering classes, can't say where, there were more Iranian muslims than white anglo saxons. Went to class with them. Shared a dorm floor with many. Philosophized with many deep into the night on many occasions. About their theology, what they thought about Western values, about atheism and science, etc.. Where are they now, back in Iran of course. But that's another issue, now isn't it?

Strictly speaking, one must learn Arabic to read the Quran. That is the language in which god speaks in it. (A somewhat archaic form of Arabic at that, apparently - not that I'd know.) To Muslims, Arabic is literally the language of god.
As the Judeo-Christian deity spoke in Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic and other tongues, which has confused everyone ever since, a unilingual god seems a an improvement.

Bluey,
Give me some context here, have you read the Quran?
No, not completely. But I do know that some misuse it's texts. Just like some misuse Biblical teachings.

This is why we lose these f*#king wars...
WTF?!?!?!?!?
You are always saying how people coming to this country need to conform to "our" way of doing things. Well "we" are in another country, so do things "their" way. Otherwise get the heck out.

That would be fine, if "our" way and "their" way were equal.
Forcing women to cover their heads is not comparable to letting people wear whatever they please, therefore, "our" way is superior.

There are a lot of people who HATE in the name of their God... Perverted sense of righteousness. Discusting!
If he had the faith in his God that he professes to have, he should go over THERE and burn the Qur'an in public... I'm sure he believes his God has the power to protect him, especially since he believes he is doing HIS God's will.
But the irony of it is... It's not his God that protects him when he acts like a bigotted ass... It's the secular laws of this country.
