I see all this chatter about LEB but I swear I never see any of LEB's posts. Could it be that I only look at the climbing posts and LEB does not seem to post on those.

why do the libs call for "banning" (i.e. censoring) rather than just ignoring her? why do you want the government (i.e. chris) to address what you see as a problem that you, yourself, can easily deal with?
it's kinda funny, actually
but the same questions can be asked about beck, o'reilly, palin, fox news, limbaugh, etc.

to me the most embarrassing part of all this is that clearly most of supertopo desires to not have The LEBs presence.
If it was me and I was hanging around a really large group of people and most of them didn't like me and didn't want me around I'd just leave quietly.
And didn't The LEB realize this once before and scram at that point. Why return?

but eveyday the LEB thread is right in front of me... and it never has anything to do with climbing... So.. I wonder what the heck is that all about?
If I were a person seeking the attention (good or bad) of others... I'd choose a forum that had to do with what I was interested in, though, I find that soccer forums are pretty pointless.. I needs to talk about a game that already happened.... much less be distracted from watching on that's in play at the moment?
I'm not looking to censor anyone...personally I'm thinking that the is a person (real or imagined) that is just plain old misguided... But aren't we all?
I was on the edge looking over, justthemaid pulled me back.. but everything stays the same.

The greasemonkey script is awesome for that. LEB threads don't even appear. Install the script and the problem is gone forever :-) Anyone who thinks the script is not needed doesn't have the same view about technology as I do, or their brain doesn't pick up words as quickly as mine does. If I glance at a paragraph, I've immediately read/scanned at least half of it, so I prefer my browser to screen out predictable unwanted content.

As soon as you start thinking that, you are HOOKED. Picture a sharp fishing hook coming out of your computer screen and sticking in your lip. I used to puzzle over how anyone could "think" like the LEB, and finally concluded its either insane or a troll. The real answer is probably a bit of both.
So Jingy, if you want to get the script going and run into difficulty, post up (NOT on a LEB thread, of course) and I can help out.

Ricardo, if you keep getting junk mail you don't want, do you remain resigned to throwing it in the garbage? Or do you contact the vendor to stop sending it?
I'm sure you don't work with tech and computers on a daily basis...I automate everything I can.
