Thanks again everyone. At least I feel a little better. We are going to the vet to pick him up now. Masha says thanks, too.

hey there say, wayno... ohmy... very sorry to be jumping in so late here...
ohmy... but, on the other hand, i been praying all morning... so you never know, maybe the good lord knew i'd be wanting to pray for you, if i knew...
i did include all my friends, critters and their families...
will still be on prayer alert... i have the time this week, too, so i been using it wisely, for to help friends in need, this way, and for me and my grandkids...
*hope they find out why this is happening, too... so it will then stop...
god bless to you and your wife and family...
you are not forgotten...

Wow, Boris looks like Frankendog. The poor little feller is still disoriented. We will know in a few days what the lab says. He still has many bumps of various sorts. I'm really grateful for the power of the Taco. I usually don't voice myself on such matters but this time I did and it helps. Thank you good people.

Aww Wayno, hang in there! It sounds like you're taking the best care of the fellow as you possibly could. Keep us updated, please!!!!!!!
From your brief description, in my limited experience it seems like cancer would be further down on the differential list, since you make it sound like they popped up relatively rapidly. Did they aspirate them first, before surgery, to see if they could see any bad looking cells? My first thought, without seeing the lumps, for suddenly arising things on the skin (assuming they really did appear suddenly, rather than being things that had been growing all alone that you only suddenly noticed) would be allergies... but allergies wouldn't generally leave a lump that would need to be surgically removed, so I'm kind of baffled.
My 15 year old girl Stella has had a lump on her foreleg for about 3 years, very slow growing. I've been aspirating it about every 6 months just for peace of mind; never found anything more than sort of fibrous junk... until last Friday when I found clumps of suspiciously cancery cells... so we're going to cut the lump off on Monday. I'm pretty leery of putting a 15 year old large dog under anesthesia, but fingers crossed.....

Certainly thinking of you and yours... Abby sends Boris all sorts of doggy kisses and snuffles and sniffs, to, and said to tell him to hang in there and get well SOON 'cause spring's around the corner and the squirrels are gonna need someone to chase after them!!
