This may seem extreme, but actions were taken, Thesenga lost a job over that stunt and I think even Dean values the respect of his peers. I know "we" as a community have a strength and brotherhood which needs to be respected.

Kelley Cordes letter looks like it was written by a 3rd grader.
EDIT: I now see that what Pete posted isn't what Kelley sent Redbull, his letter was well written compared to what Pete pasted to this thread.

I never understood why the white gas boulder thing was such a big deal. Or delicate arch.
My beef with the sponsorship thing is the LAME zen-one-with-nature bullshite that seems to come with the marketing campaigns. It's just climbing friggen rocks.

The future is not what it used to be.
Unfortunatly, having seen what Red Bull has done to other formerly noble activities, my guess is that the well-intentioned vitriol we spray will be used by the Red Bull suits as an opportuntity to go bigger and louder and to hang its banner on even more desecrated landmarks.

I am certainly NOT trying to get anyone fired, I just sent an e-mail to the company that sponsored an expedition that added unwarranted bolts to a classic wall.
I suppose my point is that any system with no checks and balances will eventually be consumed by Chaos! If remain silent what route will be retrobolted next!?
