Park rangers had to put the bison down due to the injuries it sustained.

oh, come on now. a bison with that kinda spunk could well have lived on. or become a proper wolf feast, whatever. what a crappola the way nature gets interfered with and "managed" by these idiots.

most often the wolves will do the killing of the bison

usually the culling of the Bison.

In April: that was one hungry grizzly. He deserved to earn his first meal of the season.
Sure I feel sorry for the Bison. That's not a reason to euthanize him.
