My ankle bust was so light comparatively (avulsion fracture malleolus) not far from home and not on climb...that's a long crutch out. Good on ya for not "wasting guv resources"

I hope if I break my ankle and have to walk 10 miles, I'm lucky enough to have a partner that...um...leaves me a bike?

Get well soon, Dave.

Hey Dave,

Heal up quick. Ditto on that rasta first aid kit. Kudos on making it out on crutches. Good job all around.

Self rescue - retreating upward (finishing the route!) AND the long descent hike. Stoic!

Hoping your full recovery goes smoothly!
