I wonder if anyone else ever did OS in winter again?
Country Club Ramp and Orbit have been done as mixed routes a few times.

Then I read: "The Hargis article is about "Outer Space" in Washington State. The "Outer Space" in Eldorado Canyon is only Outer State... "
haha Good on Mead Hargis Et al for getting on that in winter. Badass in a major way! Thanks for sharing the read Steve G, good stuff!

The weather up this way will drive climbers to do odd things.

The other thing about Outer Space, or any of the climbs up there, is the goats.
It's not like other alpine rock climbing areas where you might see a goat. On Snow Creek Wall (and the Pearly Gates, below) you will be sharing your day with goats. And by "sharing your entire day" I mean sharing everything. Well, everything except the way-up-on-lead part.
You will be sharing your lunch, your belay stance, and, especially, your pee. Yup. If you're gonna pee, you better be prepared to vacate your spot quickly, cuz the goats will be there to lick it up almost before you tuck it back in/pull up your panties.
