Thanks for the contributions everyone.

I have set the wheels in motion for Ti-rod removal to happen sometime this August.

GF I did speak with Hamish a while back and, he did recommend removal as well. Any surgey is inherent with risks, and the infection problem Hamish had to deal with was terrible. At Lions-Gate it was an automatic that they put me on some very strong antiobiotics as a post op-precautionary measure when the damm rod went in.

Natural bone flex is hindered with the Ti-rod in place and I know thats part of my problem. I am looking at another dissasembly of my knee during surgery, to get at the rod, which has held me back from making this decision earlier.

Though Titanium is supposedly inert, I do fear that Ti-molecules can potentially leach into my system.

The reading I have done regarding TiO2 nano-particle damage potential in the body has been enough to really put me off of having any titanium inside my body period. I think it's possible there is an immune system compromise specific to me happening which is making me tired. Its the one injury I have ever had, which I have never really seemed to completely recover from.

Thanks again everyone for the encouragement and private messages regarding this issue !!
