Flouride - good to see you made it up there. The pics are awesome.

I was going to say.. each of you (Jay, Ed, Flouride) have to be given some extra style points...

Too cool! Thanks for all of the photos, everyone!

Yeah, melting way fast, by the looks of it (also compare Tradster’s shot of Tioga Lake with the one that I took the previous Wednesday…), but it’s still gonna be a while for some of those domes…

Nice shots! I had an amazing weekend in the valley, and I'm still jealous of the high country pics!

Maybe I'll get inspired to upload my pics sooner.

When will the skeeters start, peak, and dwindle?

Wayda get at it everyone. Sean, as fun as Monterey Beer Festivasl was, the fact that im not a part of this is upsetting me tremendouslt right now (as I sip on my 20th cup of coffee, flying off of an entire bottle of ibuprofen). Looking forward to gettin' back on DAFF!

yea, i'd be so torn between skiing and climbing that i'd have to stay in my sleeping bag and suck my thumb all day.

skeeters! damn! i was in tuolumne last july and i haven't encountered such aggressive skeeters since i left minnesota, where they have been designated the state bird by the legislature. in minnesota, a skeeter will bite your arm and fly 30 yards off before the pain signal makes it to your brain. california skeeters are generally such sorry-ass excuses for insects that you can drink half a sierra nevada pale before they even hunker down to bite. but the tuolumne breed is a different story.

Chief nope. Fairview isn't plowed out. Neither is Medlicott or Dozier. Pretty much the main options parkinng-wise were Daff, SPD and Pywiak.

for those who plan ahead (not a supertopo strength!)
take a snow shovel so the GF can dig a parking spot for your vehicle
while you ward off traffic.

Hey nice pics! Was that a last scrappy bit of ice on Chouinard Falls in Lee Vining Cyn that I see on the lower left in the 4:01am post of "Waterfall below Ellery, leaving Tuolumne Sunday late afternoon," or am I imagining things?

Wonder how late people were able to climb in there this year.

Lovely in Tahoe also this weekend. Perfect! Gorgeous snow scenery but tshirt temps at Donner.
