My pleasure Mouseman! Carleton was Da Man! The Getty had a fabulous exhibit
of his work a few years ago. It was so awesome. Most awesome was one of
his cameras - I think it weighed about 150 pounds! The negs were about
12" x 18" if memory serves. It took 4 people and 4 horses to pack everything
to a shoot. He had to set up a big-azzed tent to develop the negs as they
had to be done immediately.

Mouse, I don't know about the railing. I haven't been to Glacier Point in 30 years. I used these photos when teaching social studies.
The apparel, tent and autos might authenticate the dates below.
Yosemite Falls from Glacier Point 1947
Tioga Pass 1926
Saddle Bag Lakes 1929 (nice string of fish)
Portal View 1949

Wow mouse, you're not such a bad guy after all. I apologize for telling you to STFU, it was both insensitive and stupid of me.
You and your amigos, amigas, La Migra, and the amigra-ettes have single (or multiply) handedly saved this thread.
Could you please clarify when the Yosemite NP switched from Vintage Yosemite to New Yosemite? Was Juan Murrieta involved.
Do you remember back when they used to pour tons of Ivory soap down from Glacier Point? Well, I had to clean all that stuff up and it nearly depleted my supply of acetone.
