in this idiotic season of excess and comfort,
lets cast a little comparison into the placid waters of doomed mankind.
for those placid waters offer but a faint reflection of reality. of the honest reality as understood by those creatures motivated by necessity.
life is a big, dry slab of meat.
search is a shiny steak knife, though one lacking a serrated edge.
angst is the teeth that ride upon the knife edge of the search..
and suffering is the surrendered life blood that juicy's up that plank, readying it for mass consumption by you and mee and by all of our tribe sold down the road of voluntary hardship.

Interesting mixed media piece there Tar. Could be interesting doing a series of this type vignette? Being a died in the wool atheist I’d be interested in how you interpret Tom Waits “Dirt in the Ground” off of his Bone Machine album.

Tom Waits: the gritty pragmatist!
I'm all over it .... also did a cursory search for MH2's Victor Wooten reference and found a bass player?
Maybe kick out some Alan Watts from the old radio shows...nah, better to do George Carlin.
