John,
It isn't the insidious machinations of your mind that has enlightened me! ;-)

Dr. F.

I've always enjoyed reading Katrina vanden Heuvel, though more often in The Nation than online. It confirms the intellectual superiority of conservatives.

How have the Repubs been running California?
It has been controlled by the Democratic Party since 1970 except during 1995 and 1996.

The governor's efforts are at best symbolic.

intellect [ˈɪntɪˌlɛkt]
n
1. (Psychology) the capacity for understanding, thinking, and reasoning, as distinct from feeling or wishing

So anyone who has pigeonholed themselves as a conservative or liberal (thereby confirming their feelings/wishes) is limiting their intellect.

Better check with your inside source again.

Or just read McNerney Retains Seat.

No California congressional district changed parties.

Your "base" intellect.

Every bit as incapable of critical thinking.

Every bit as capable of discussing "policy" as YOU are.

YOUR PEOPLE.

They were obsessed with getting more congressional repubs to take over the house. It worked. He won't get much of a penalty.
