i missed the Stephen Stills link from Poco. Was it from his first solo lp, with the giraffe in the snow?
A lot of talent contributed to that lp. Clapton, Hendrix, Booker T., Ringo Starr, John Sebastian and those are just off the top of my head, there were a lot more.
Speaking of Hendrix, yesterday marks 46 years since his demise. That and one fell on my 14th birthday. Followed by G. Parsons and Jim Croce 19th & 20th of September 1973 respectively.

15 more days till Neil Young... tick tock. I cannot wait! Dylan is coming to Phx as well, on a school night, so I am slightly on the fence about that one. I wake up REALLY early for the job i love...
In the mean time, a very kind musician and cherished friend dedicated this song to me last night. It touched me, in ways I cannot not describe.

*Yanqui ... Neil Finn was my first "musician crush" when I was 14 or 15 years old. I have had the honor of seeing Neil Finn live, his son Liam Finn live, at an intimate venue here in Tucson, and a Crowded House reunion concert at Humphreys on the Bay in San Diego.

Another six keys down. Stanley "Buckwheat" Dural Jr. passed away at the age of 68 yesterday from lung cancer.
i saw him numerous times performing in New Orleans as a member of Clifton Chenier’s Red Hot Louisiana Band and when he formed his own band Buckwheat Zydeco.
