How nice to find a quiet spot away from Yoko and the kids.
I spent an afternoon looking idly for Miwok penis drawings
but only found a Pepsi can and a piece of driftwood
that looked like Baby Jesus.
And I never came down till the Fourth of July.

We found a cat
out in the yard
By the smell of him
it was not very hard
At first I spied
his sad orange head
then I thought the cat
might surely be dead
I nudged at him
gently with a stick
by the stench I reckoned
he must've been sick
A large piece of his hide
fell off of his head
So we named our new cat
Nearly Dead Fred
We buried him near
an old oak tree
Within sight of the mountains
where the wind blows free
Nowhere within miles
of our home for it's said
He still smells horrific

Hey mouse,
Thanks for the hooblie update, I see he posted something on the hat thread yesterday.
I watched the Mogadishoe battle yesterday as well, (Blackhawk Down). The Rangers, 75th Regiment. involved were from nearby Ft. Benning. A few of those guys were classmates of mine a few years before the battle while they were DCP (degree completion program)
One I didn't know, Keni Thomas, took a little known local band Cornbread and transformed it into a popular country music band. Keni left the band behind and went to the Grand Ole Opry a few times.

What highly regarded GD shows or runs do you find, well, not so spectacular?
I'm referring to the popular shows/runs like Fillmore 69, Barton Hall 77, Augusta 84, Hampton 88, etc
For me it's 2/18/71 and Music Hall '76...ok stuff, but nothing I really ever revisit with enthusiasmte

Z, all the historical favorites are known for their perfection. As we know, they were far from a perfect animal. I love it when they go off the rails and struggle back from the abyss! Case in point, give the 12/26/81 Scarlet Fire a listen. Raw and rugged, skidding the whole time....glorious! I was there and had to scrape my brain off the floor.
