Then please explain why so many workers do not make a living wage and are exploited by their employers. Pay withheld, overtime laws ignored, workman's comp ignored or gone without, women paid less than men for the same job, etc etc etc.

Yes... I know its way over the top but I do see similarities but there are big differences. Teachers do put in the time in school and have to continuously undergo training. ( I do know many teachers, married to one )

Many teachers I know, hate the union they are forced to join and pay dues to and these same teachers tell me that the Union is one of the BIG PROBLEMS with making our educational system preform again, like it use to.

Burger flippers or any JOB that you can teach to someone in less than a hour do not need unions or for that matter the government via the minimum wage.

IMHO... that is a stupid question and showes some microagression.

Where I work, we have women who are Directors and I am pretty sure they make the same or more than some of the Men who are Directors.

But in reality this war on women and the pay inequities man vs women is a complete democrat made up lie, backed up with fake statistics.

The real question is this, and we should all be very concerned, why is it now allowed to pay non-American workers much less than American workers????

Are you familiar with something known as the H-1B?

( they transferred over from NASA after faking the moon landings).

I am intimately familiar with the H-1B visa process, having gone through it twice. But it is not a way to "pay non-American workers much less than American workers." It is set up to bring in non-American professionals to fill positions for which no American is available, and wages must match the wage that would be payed in the local area to an American who was qualified and available.

Is it abused? I'm sure it is. Are some H-1B workers paid less than the local standard for their professional qualifications? I'm sure they are.

But if and when it is abused, it is not because the H-1B visa is designed to get low-paid foreigners into the US, it is because its requirements are not enforced.

Bingo..... it's abused trust me. From what I have seen... if they make you train your replacement then how special skilled was your job? All of the establishment Repubs and the Hillery democrats are very much in favor of this program.

If your a good Democrat who believes in Unions, the Bernie folks I reckon are in this category, you should be mad as hell.

I've even heard sanders say that the unemployment rate is closer to 12%.

the problem is that the jobs today are part-time, temporary, or service oriented.
