It's like Rick Nelson was RR, huh?

Nobody has a single unworthy comment, they are all universal in their regard for Mr. Nelson.

Except that he got away with just standing there as a performer.

As in this clip, his first record.

He sings almost as good as zBrown.

Then there was this in 1975. Good song.

DON’T FENCE WITH ME.

If you really want to hear me tell this, the last thing you’ll want to hear about is my death. But I’m gonna die and there’s nothing I can do. I don’t know when. I just know that everyone dies, and that means me, too. We are put here to do something, apparently. We have only so much time to get it done and then we are out of here.

I’ve done some things, mostly not close to “great” or “earth-shaking,” as ninety-nine percent of us finally come up with, so this is not going to be one of those big sellers like Planet of the Cave Bears. It is more like a limerick: There once was a fellow named Mouse, etcetera.

Limericks are mercifully short, however.

When you have a long list of blah accomplishments the trick is to pick out the top ones and tell about them. In honesty, there are few shining moments in my life, and they are just like the shining moments in your blah, dull lives.

The daughter whomb I sired, and a woman who I once admired and sought to possess, and a beautiful Nana who drank under stress, these and a black VW turned on its side, are some of the things about which you may hear.

I’ve had a climbing career, as well. I’m just like most of you climbers, in that I didn’t bail on too many, I got to the top of some impressive places, and I made a few fast friends. Glory is fleeting, friendship lasts.

That’s what this is about. That is my message.

So why do I need to tell the story? You’d likely just get bored.

So just plug in your own cuz I’m done, except for that woman I sought to possess. She has escaped me so far. But neither of us are dead yet.

I hear that my old flame fences as well as she plays the guitar, "just like she's ringing a bell."

En garde, pussycat!

Note: This came to me because I just began Catcher in the Rye, never having read it, and it is impressive so far.

Large, traditional Vajrayana prayer wheels in Mongolia. Every spin of a wheel is thought to accomplish a full round of prayers.

It's like they used to say "what comes around goes around" or something like that anyway. I do recall being entreated to "pray for surf" in the early 1960's, not however, whilst actually surfing.

This guy at Coronado North Beach, might have been giving some consideration to prayer. Just north of here is where I was arrested in my baggies, by the U.S. Marines for trespassing on a Federal reserve. I had to sign an affidavit that I wasn't a terrorist and would never do it again on pain of spending the rest of my life praying at Guantanamo.

So is this thread about what it feels like with dementia or just being a Californian?
I could never tell the difference.

You overlook the obvious possibility of being both my friend. Obviating the need for hard choices.

That, and this.... A duck walked into a drug store and said, "give me a tube of Chapstick and put it on my bill".

Some folks swear the magic word says throwpie. Others say SuzyCreamcheese.
If there's anyone that knows, is there anyone that cares?

We may have to pull in the moon and plantets and stars and satellites and space men and to find the infected mouse, I spose.

Order your spyscopes here:

I prefer Winstead's myself.

I swear that none of the people in this photo are mouseFM, Throwpie, zB, Tim Leary, nor Rick Nelson.

But there are only four people in the photo, you may point out. Think about it. And yes if you want to nitpick there are more than four people, to which I might reply "Are you talking foreground or background, here?"

Hi neebee. Those mines were not too far from you. Some folks have put together quite extensive historical photographic collections of the Upper Penninsula. We need to figure a way for you to get a higher speed connection.
