Yes, Bill, because the 30min time slot of the evening news should show every single interview they do in its entirety. That would only last...oh, six hours or so.
I've watched the full interviews with this racist tax evading, seditionist traitor. The full interview changes nothing. There is no missing context, no redemption, no "twisting" of his words.
Bundy is racist shithead, full stop.

He says some very reasonable things about the "spanish people" at the end. This guy seems like a very kindly, very ignorant guy to me who would be a pretty nice neighbor if he would just pay his grazing fees like a responsible American.
*edit* He'd be an even better neighbor if he would stop wondering if black families weren't better off under slavery.

A tweet sent by AFP Nevada on April 10 urging followers to read more about the #BundyBattle, which involves Bundy's refusal to pay fines for allowing his cattle to graze on public land, has been deleted. A Facebook graphic that the group posted criticizing the Bureau of Land Management for enforcing grazing laws against Bundy has similarly disappeared.
Previously, the page read: "The BLM spent HOW MUCH to round up cattle? ONE MILLION DOLLARS." As of Friday afternoon, it reads: "This content is currently unavailable" http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/04/25/koch-brothers-cliven-bundy_n_5213481.html

Yes, and no.
Yes because, as you say, one can't fit six hours of video into 30 minutes.
No because, while it is not possible to show everything in that half-hour slot, it is now possible to make vast amounts of background material available on the web.
So, ABC/NBC/Fox/CNN/whatever can run the short version during the evening news slot, and put the whole thing up on their website.
I don't know if that happened in this case, but it certainly could/should have.

They make nice natural manure so you can replenish the fields to grow nice food stuffs without killing.

Yeah but that's not gonna happen, even if the evil hamburger eaters stop eating hamburgers.
No hamburgers -> no one is going to raise cattle -> they just won't exist.
Rare exceptions aside, their only options are to exist and then become hamburger, or not exist; hard to see a good outcomes for them.
Hard to see a good outcome for Bundy in all this too, I think Reid will get his "pound of flesh" and then some.
