You might want to use these folks for your photo finishes. I have a pair of Winstead's binoculars that have held up handsomely over the years ("triple tested coated optics", whatever that means. Remind myself to Google that one).

The Camargue is a land of cowboys and gypsies.
It's vaguely close, nominally near to Corsica, island of our Gypsy.
Happy Father's Day, Mom.

I think it has something to do with being Finnish.
More than a quarter mile or a quarter furlong. Time is, afterall, precious.
3/5 of a mile in 10 seconds is a good time. I don't think either Tom The Mongoose or Don The Snake could touch it. This is a car club thread right?
Where do the freeways collide? Depends on which, but if you're talking Harbor, 91, 405 freeways it's Ascot Park.
I'd always thought it was "stop children what's that sound?", but this just testifies to the frailty of memory. Still checking on women's frailty, what a long strange trip it' been.
Don't think I will ever be a father. Can remember a whole bunch of times when I discovered that I wasn't and was quite pleased with that.
Well, I spose I could donate a few cells to be kept in Ted Williams head crypt, so I'm not ruling anyting out.

Put on the brakes, you're goin' too fast.
There are too few breaks, better make them last.
Then, Grasshopper, there was the one about the Japanese beetle and the fly, which is best told on the fly, since everyone who hears it seems to become "sick." My lips are sealed, but keep your eyes open.
Flying is a standard dream of mine.
Often with no sound.

I just received a vibe (call it a warning) that we need climbing content.
El Jefe leads the charge.
Freedom of the Hills!
I'm guessing 1974, Mt. Hoffman, and Dick E.

Triple tested coated optics may simply mean the quality of a lens has been tested by three different quality control agents before they are approved for use in optical illusions.
This was taken last nite. The rest were taken early this morning.this fire is around Jerseydale, above Hite Cove, or maybe further to the west of there, like on Sweetwater Point and down south of there around about Bootjack.
It might not interrupt Yosemite traffic, because the wind is blowing to the south of Hwy 140.
It is remarkably clear here in the central valley today, and here is the proof.

Not the smoke I had in mind to share earlier...
Big Meadow and Foresta, vivid memories of them both before and after '89.
This is Ron Anderson speaking. I don't know what's going on this week.
This is Tad Hocking speaking. I know what's going on this week, but don't know if you are going to be involved.
This is Mouse from Merced squeaking. I would gladly take anyone who wants to join us on Tom's Thumb this weekend from the central valley to Redding where the 4x4 awaits at Tad's.
This offer is good whether or not Ron can join us.
I won't be out of here till early Friday morning.
If interested in a good time climbing five-easy, PM me or call 209-722-7134. I have room for one. Please, no hate calls...

In recognition of Father's day, here is the type of place my grandfather Jakob called work.
View of Pabst and Newport Mines - Ironwood, MI
This one never made to Ascot. Probably couldn't do 3/5 in 10 either.

Can't touch this one, though, can it?

Christmas in June for this old fart meant a call from Bevin & a call from Scott on Fathers Day (kids of mine).

Why an English Bulldog Cam? (You might ask). Uh, I couldn't find a Finnish Bulldog? That's Harriet's ghost walking her dog on Gower Avenue. Rick contributed the fine guitar work.

Perhaps there is a need to call in a hieroglyphics expert on those lyrics sheets. Everybody knows that Fogerty wrote Garden Party, but gave it to Rick rather then let Zaentz get his dirty hands on it.

They didn't choose to interview me on Rick, but that's OK. None of these folks knew him as Eric like I did - poor little fools.
