Just taking a break from ST for a few days.

How many of you are watching Jesse Ventura's Conspiracy Theory on TruTV?

I am.

It's good. Makes me think a lot. Jesse is a true American and very brave for taking this on. Someone has to. Jesse Ventura is a whole lot smarter than a lot of people give him credit for. Watch a few of his programs and read his book and this becomes very clear.

The dark inner secret core of the US government is truly corrupt.

It's very sad to come to realize this and to come to this truth.

Before we can pull out the beam in another country's eye, we have to first pull out the Giant Sequoia size beam from our own. America has issues with telling the truth and abiding by The Golden Rule. We are truly corrupt.

Jesse's show is really hitting it out of the park. It is very popular, and his book American Conspiracy got to number 4 on the NY Best Seller list.

Rendlesham Forest UFO Tape Released by British
November 4, 2010
http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-515353?ref=feeds%2Flatest

iReport — One of the most famous UFO events in history was recorded on audio by U.S. military officials searching through the forest for a UFO. The eerie event took place 30 years ago and the audio tapes are just now being released.

The tape begins with an American noting that local farm animals were behaving strangely.
He says: "They're very, very active, making a lot of noise.
"Straight ahead. There it is again. Straight ahead. What is it? A strange, small red light.
"It looks maybe half a mile further ahead. There is no doubt about it, it is a strange flashing red light ahead."
He continues: "I saw a yellow tinge in it too. Weird. It's coming this way. It's definitely coming this way.
"There is no doubt about it - this is weird."
The servicemen were led by Colonel Charles Halt, of the local US Air Force Bentw#ters base.

The minute the skeptics show up demanding the "proof" the "proof" will not appear.

The "proof" always maintains it's superiority over all.

The "proof" will only appear to those whom are actually worthy ......

Bigger trees in the past were just bigger trees.

Oxygen levels in the Cretaceous were north of 25% and possibly 30%
compared to the current 21%. That'll git ya growing better than Barry Bonds' juju juice.

Professor Andrew C Scott from Royal Holloway says the periods of high oxygen concentration were times of major change in the evolution of vegetation on land, with the evolution and spread of new plant groups - the conifers in the late Carboniferous and flowering plants in the Cretaceous.

Just like holds magically appear when you're runout staring at a blank wall. Right, got that. Clearly it's really only a 5.18c (if you're worthy).

This "proof positive" that you guys have no good brain.

I never established what "proof" represented.

You all just assumed and speculated it pertained to some subject matter and projected your run away minds onto what you assumed "proof" really stood for.

And ... you guys have logic and reason????

YOU HAVE BEEN OWNED .....

Wow, I feel safer already.

Interesting that someone from Vanderburg AFB pipes in and has a say in the responses to this article.

I would have to agree to the responders of this article at DU. The DoD wanted us to see this, as well as the rest of the world. But of course our Military isn't talking. Mums the word.

Ala, . . .

"What Area 51? What are you talking about? There isn't anything there," kinda response from the DoD.

Gees, Cold War all over again.

It is getting chilly. I'm going to go put on a sweater.

bunch of idiots say that their discoveries and "science" work could lead to STARSHIPS. WHAT a BUNCH of IDIOTS!

What a pile of jackasses must be those guys at CERN!

Did you even read the article, Rox? They didn't interview any of the researchers at CERN who worked on this or knew anything about it. They interviewed two people, neither of which is connected to CERN.

Instead, the claim about starships is from ONE person, an author of a sensationalistic book. The only other person they quote snorts at this and says "Don't hold your breath!" In other words, "Don't be an idiot!"

Don't get your panties in a bunch or start booking flights. Antimatter propulsion is nothing new and the big stumbling block to it is still a matter of [energy] yield. Producing antihydrogen is staggeringly expensive - note the near term maintenance bulletin for the LHC:

On December 6, the LHC will be shut down for servicing and to avoid draining electricity in the depths of winter from the energy networks of France and Switzerland along whose border CERN lies.

So, yeah for the electrical output of a couple of nations you can buy a few atoms of antihydrogen. You do get a lot of bang with antimatter, but not necessarily bang for the buck relative to production costs. And even with the most efficient forms of antimatter propulsion envisioned - antiproton-catalyzed microfission (ACMF) / antiproton initiated microfission / fusion (AIM) you're still talking about lifetimes to get anywhere in terms of interstellar travel:

Using 30-130 micrograms of antimatter, an unmanned AIM-powered probe – AIMStar – would be able travel to the Oort Cloud in 50 years,

IMPORTANT NASA to Reveal 'Astrobiology Discovery' Thursday
Source: NASA

November 30, 2010 - Aliens are a terrifying yet exciting prospect. We've all seen Smallville. We can't be the only ones out there. There has to be other planets, other people, other life forms, right? Sure, we're not expecting them all to look like Clark Kent or the charming Kara, but we'd like to know for sure that they're out there.

Well, it probably won't be as exciting as uncovering an advanced civilization of beings not too different from us, but NASA says it's got an 'astrobiology discovery' to share with us all on Thursday afternoon. To say we are excited would be a huge understatement. However, NASA does say that this discovery will 'impact the search for evidence of extraterrestrial life.' Close encounters are getting closer, guys!

Here it is, straight from the Space Agency's mouth:

NASA will hold a news conference at 2 p.m. EST on

Thursday, Dec. 2, to discuss an astrobiology finding that will impact the search for evidence of extraterrestrial life. Astrobiology is the study of the origin, evolution, distribution and future of life in the universe.

The news conference will be held at the NASA Headquarters auditorium at 300 E St. SW, in Washington. It will be broadcast live on NASA Television and streamed on the agency's website at http://www.nasa.gov

'Life as we don't know it' discovery could prove existence of aliens
NASA has sent the internet into a frenzy after it announced an "astrobiology finding" that could suggest alien life exists – even on earth.

Mono Lake Connection in the above story.

Who here has snorkelled Mono Lake?

I have.

The tip of my tongue was chemically burnt for a month or more afterwards. Still very fun swimming and diving around those Tufa formations. Very cool. I would like to do it again.

One of the participants is a specialist in the role minerals play in the development of life and photosynthesis. I'd say someone must have gotten a signature hit of some sort on Mars or one of the moons of Jupiter or Saturn that confirms biological activity. Would have to be a very high probability for them to announce this way after the fiasco announcement of microbial 'fossils' in Martian rocks. I'd personally be amazed if we hadn't come up with 'proof-of-[bacterial]-life' now or in the very near future. I wouldn't get my hopes up for aliens, however.
