The late Mr. Sumlin was a kid that Howlin' Wolf sent to music school to polish his plantation talent and made him face the audience out of embarrassment after wooing him from the Delta to Chicago.

The Natchez Burning is a true account of a fire at the Rhythm Club in Natchez, MS that burned to the ground in 1940, taking 232 lives with it. There are many songs that focus on this dreadful event.

Just read of Glenn Frey's passing. RIP
The Eagles ≈ Take It Easy (Jackson Browne & Glenn Frye)
I enjoyed the Eagle's music in the early days; but it grew tiresome due to FM radio overplay. I saw them in Atlanta in the early days '71 or'72 opening for Ten Years After. Jackson Browne made a cameo appearance for Take It Easy. My first exposure to their music.

Before the Eagles hit songs ran glam off there were startups that would eventually take us

The over the top glam/ dress-up, was one of the distractions that made the music less endearing,
and soon enough The musicians got played out from putting on the performance costumes. Then euro-trash and punk noise, distracted from some good songs but some still hold up. . .
RIP,
Dale Griffin
D Bowie
G Frye
The others just gone; RIP as well - the heavenly band sure can jam. . .

The B-Bender guitar of Bernie Leadon, behind the vocals of Glenn Frey.
Take It Easy
I want to make a b-bender Telecaster modification that doesn't require any alteration of the guitar, at all. I think that a replacement back plate, and some other non-intrusive magic should do the trick.
Every b-bender mod I have seen requires altering the guitar, to the point that completely reversing the installation is impossible.
Does anyone else want a non-intrusive b-bender for a tele?
