Of course the media is only telling us a small part of the Russian hacking,
since they have skin in the game to make sure their Corporate masters get their Trump tax cuts.

They hacked not only the DNC e-mails, they hacked local Democratic candidates e-mail and smeared them locally

and they hacked the VOTER REGISTRATIONS which could have been used to hack actual vote counts

Russian Hackers Targeted Nearly Half of States' Voter Registration Systems, Successfully Infiltrated 4
http://abcnews.go.com/US/russian-hackers-targeted-half-states-voter-registration-systems/story?id=42435822

I think we will find out soon that they hacked the swing states vote counts, which would be considered a serious crime.
and make Trump an illegitimate President, and the GOP win will also be questioned.

Why no investigations?
The investigations are squashed by the tyrannical leaders that are the target of the investigations, that's how right wing takeovers work, they didn't investigate Hitler after he took power no matter what the crime.

What was obamas strategy for Syria again? I have yet to hear any rational explanation for our actions there

The Obama strategy is "Can't see it from my yard" which is exactly what it should be. There's no reliable partners in Syria to arm, it has no strategic, geographic or resource importance (unless you like dirt occupied by religious zealots) and there is absolutely no reason to to shed one drop of American blood there.

Still waiting for Trump's big plan.

Warner- Thanks for the 15 word Yahtzee compilation. I always look forward to the random order in which those 15 words will appear!

The Democrats, lead by head clown Chuck Schumer, know how bad ObamaCare is and what a mess they are in. Instead of working to fix it, they do the typical political thing and BLAME.

The fact is ObamaCare was a lie from the beginning. "Keep you doctor, keep your plan!" It is time for Republicans & Democrats to get together and come up with a healthcare plan that really works - much less expensive & FAR BETTER!

So what's the great fix?

Then why do we have troops there? Why are we allied with Turkey, the "rebels", the Kurds etc... who spend more time fighting each other than Isis or Assad- whom Obama insists "must go"
And we have been providing these groups aid and weapons for years

Where is the outrage? Where is the "resistance"?

The Republicans could have fixed ObamaCare on day one
by allowing a public option and putting in cost controls

But they decided to screw Americans and try to kill ObamaCare out of spite instead, they sabotaged it from every angle
they drove prices up, they denied people Medicaid, they lied about death panels, they would daily say how terrible it was just to dupe idiots in believing them

ObamaCare was the best Republicans could come up with, that's why they implemented it in the first place.

And now, the only reason they want to repeal it is because their billionaire overloards want a tax cut, screw the Americans that need it.

All those Trump supporters, I am sure this is what they wanted:

The House just made it a lot easier to sell off national parks
The House now officially values public lands at $0.

Yep, those pesky public lands, they only add to our national deficit. Who says you are entitled to visit them anyway.

Obamacare Premium Hikes are All Marco Rubio's Fault, Says the Man Who Made the Law

http://ijr.com/2016/10/708842-obamacare-premium-hikes-are-all-marco-rubios-fault-says-the-man-who-made-the-law/

Appearing on Fox News' “The Kelly File” Wednesday, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the chief architect of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), told host Megyn Kelly that the massive premium hikes being seen by many Americans are Sen. Marco Rubio's fault:

KELLY: “Stable market — obviously it is not, with this mass exodus of insurance companies, the decrease in competition, the hike — enormous hike in premiums in so many states and counties. Were you wrong?”

EMANUEL: “Megyn, your reporter did a very nice job of cherry picking only the most extreme. They didn't raise premiums across the board. Some have gone up higher than others...”

Emanuel went on to say that premium hikes are an issue that needs to be dealt with, but then shifted the blame to Republicans, specifically targeting Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL):

“Republicans bear some of the responsibility for this. Remember, Marco Rubio eliminated some of the risk adjustment that actually buffered and helped the insurance companies in this situation.”

Rubio was a chief proponent of removing the so-called “risk corridors” in the ACA. As reported by The New York Times, “the risk corridors were intended to help some insurance companies if they ended up with too many new sick people on their rolls and too little cash from premiums to cover their medical bills in the first three years under the health law.”

In essence, if an insurance company was hurting due to their obligation under the ACA to cover everyone, the government would shoulder the cost. Emanuel says that the premium hikes being seen by many Americans are because Rubio and other Republicans pressed to remove these “risk corridors.”

This is seemingly accurate. However, some would argue that the government covering extra costs with taxpayer dollars is the same as Americans paying increased premiums, as the money all originates from the same source — the American taxpayer.

And the initial losses were quite large. The Times reports that during the insurance exchange's first year, the “losses were so steep that insurance-company requests for risk corridor payments were $2.9 billion”:

Locker, Fry- Nice posts on the ACA. It's clearly a workable plan that needs some tweaking and positive press to get more young healthy people on the roles.

C wilmot- Which administration has had a successful middle East policy? None, they've all been disastrous. Keeping clear of large engagements and micro-targeting (assassinating) the bad actors seems to be working well enough for now. I have friends that have worked several tours in Intel and combat in the Middle East. I think the general consensus is- it's a shitshow and we should get the fuk out

Of course Israel has just whacked the hornet's nest with their new settlement policy and Trump is happily going along with this. Things are going to get much worse under this Administration.

You can't be serious.... And just who are these "bad actors" and how are they determined to be "bad".

Until Israel buys (note: purchases)and moves to the Mexican Baja, there will never be peace in the ME. Perhaps we can convince them that the mexican soil is just as magical.

the Dems are doing a big mistake trying to defend Obamacare

their resistance will only be used to blame them later

let the toothless inbred deplorables go without healthcare.

Let them die from meth, opiods, obesity, etc.

They voted for #Cheetojesus and the 1% of the 1%, so let them suffer the consequences like the delicate snowflakes they are.

and for the people of color in the 3 states that allowed OrangeHitler to rise to power with the votes of 80k people... they can suffer too for not getting their snowflake welfare asses to the polls.

I'm a straight, white male with insurance, so I'm just fine.

and me being just fine is all that matters in 2017

^^^ Kinda Wow Patrick. I get that most of what you write is tongue-in-cheek. But many of the Trump supporters will be surprised when they get what they asked for, and realize that when the Gov't "gets outta their Medicare," that they're left without healthcare.

I have a good friend who got insurance because of the ACA. Now, she's fearing she won't be able to afford the healthcare she needs.

I understand, modern healthcare is expensive. But why does it cost so much in the US, when other countries cover similar healthcare options under their single-payer systems.

The alternative, as presented by the Republicans is to carpet bomb, invade or arm a proxy force.

What's your alternative, send over a bunch of civil rights lawyers and create an environment of due process?

I'm as liberal as the next guy, however I come to the conclusion that Radicalized Muslims fully intend to come here and kill us.

It took well into the Fourth Crusade for the West to figure out, it may be a nice place to visit as a pilgrim, not such a great place to occupy as a conqueror.

I totally agree on Israel yet I surf in Baja and I'd have to embark on a Jihad if they screwed with my access.

If the threat of "hordes of dangerous muslims" were true, then this country would already be on fire. It's nonsense. Nobody "hates us for our freedoms". If they hate us, it's because of our support for continual unrest and violence in their backyards.

This is true but I've seen a pattern of a new (old) tactic. It's the temporary placate, half lie, sidestep tactic. I believe we all use this when our parents would ask if our homework was done. Like many of our parents, the press and Trump supporters have been gullible beyond belief.

IMO, Manson's quote applies to Democrats as well.
