This is a couple of days old, but the last report off the SCC board, from RRK:

--------------------------snip-----------------------

Someone with some time on their hands should log in as "the real OC" or something like that and start prattling on about "the best way to bolt" or "great sport climbs" and other things guaranteed to annoy him. (Somebody did something like this once when the main board was down and it was funny as all get-out.) He would be in full-blown conniption-mode almost immediately and we could all pretend that we couldn't tell which one was the real OC. Once the joke played out we could claim that we were training an understudy (or stunt-double).

Seriously, he called last night for just a minute or so and had to go due to extreme pain and the fact that the docs came in to muck-with-him. From that conversation I'm guessing that it will be early spring before we can get him out anywhere near the rocks again. Here's hoping for an early-out to home confinement.

Hopefully, all is well, I'm keeping a close eye on both sites, but again, JTM/RRK are the one who will bring us up to date.

Sending positive energy towards the dirtman. He's got a bunch of folks all over our community pulling for him.

Dirtineye has survived not one, but two Tuesdays now, and no doubt, whole worlds of pain, despair and battle.

We are still with you, Curt.

*UPDATE*

Talked to him a little tonight. He's still pretty loopy and sleeps a lot. Still in pain, still on lots of drugs. Lots of tests. They are a little worried about a possible infection, but they've got him on antibiotics, and he seems a little more animated.

Gotta scram

Hey, make sure you tell him we're praying for him. Tell him that crazy Repugnut, 'bluering', is pulling for him.

God bless ya bro, fight. You can do it!

Yeah, I think that he's coming around. I got a call Wed. which didn't last long due to nurses coming in for some procedure. Here's a funny little clip:

Dirt: "Hey man, what's going on?"
RRK: "Wow, you really sound coherent this morning."
Dirt: "I do? Wait a minute..."[sound of numerous clicks on the pain pump]
Dirt: "There, that should take care of it."

RRK

PS JTM- please get in touch. I don't have your email but want to talk to you about getting something of yours for Cassie for Xmas. If you've got a catalog online just post the link

LOL^^^

Sorry Kenny- I suck. I've been meaning to get an e-mail off to you and Dale.

A couple people e-mailed me for the shop link so I'll just post it here. Etsy is the easiest place to purchase my stuff online:

Just read this on the SCC board, via Pappy:
"Talked to Curt yesterday, he's surprisingly coherent (for Curt) and seems to be doing as well as could be expected. I guess he's going to be in the hospital for another couple of weeks. He was happy to hear that his board privileges have been returned, but aggravated that he can't get on line until he gets out. He should have a lot of verbal diarhea built up by then, so get ready."

LEB. I have a feeling that person you talked to was a little mistaken. Curt says that cards have been getting to him.

I've been out at JT for the last few days so I wasn't getting messages.

The room # is the only incorrect thing I can find

The address and floor are correct.

The room number is actually #470. I'll edit the previous post.

That's part of it, but it is also out of respect for the other patients.

When you're laying in a hospital bed, trying to mend, do you really want to hear some f*#k-tards cell phone conversation in the hallway about their latest business deal or that their kid just poisoned the cat?
