I guess it's all a matter of taste, Steve.

The Leffe and La Chouffe are from Belgium.
The La Fin Du Monde is from Canada.

If you're in Boulder go to Liquor Mart. They have it all!

How about another blonde, Lynne?

Well, it ain't pizza, it was 'substitute lasagne'. I didn't have any ricotta, but had lots of swiss. Used spagetti sauce. It kinda worked, especially with a cold brew(Mirror Pond).

It depends which part of the vegan you're eating.

I tried a new beer today (new to me). It's called Skinny Dip from New Belgium Brewery.

Almost no nose, Malty with hints of lime, slightly bitter finish.

Tastes like watered down Fat Tire with lime. At only 4.2% ABV, I say it's crap! The ladies might enjoy it.

Skipt, Uh, I'm still thinking...uh pizza with vegetables on it??? Do I get an A ?

i thought you were speaking as a cannibal asking what a "Vegan" tastes like...that I don't know. And I am Lynne with an e not to be confused as today with Lynn Hill who has no e....and it hasn't been the first time

BIG QUESTION: Would you email someone with the last name of Leichtfuss and ask if you were Lynn Hill...it happens. What, do they think Leichtfuss is a pseudonym????

Skully, I should have said Good Job for the improvisation. Many people can't improvise in a pinch. So, can you be the chef in our camp at the Facelift?

PS, some of the best meals I've ever had were "thrown" together.

Blitzo,,,,what up with "the ladies might like it" like it's not worthy of a "males" palet....ohhh those may be dueling words. Forget the Bocci ..... pistols with seconds.

Name the time and place.

Lynne, from my experience women tend to like the lighter beers, there are exceptions, like Susan Peplow, but Corona and such seem to be very popular with women.

Blitzo, I do not believe Corona has been mentioned on this thread so far...I don't think it's a great beer. To me it tastes "green". You are probably correct in saying that gals like lighter beers, but I think quite a few of us do like to try all types.

Have appreciated your comments as a beer connoisseur.....

Skipt, you have a great sense of humor.

Capt. Skully, we'll keep a positive thought.

Nite all..... and have fun manana.

“The one beer to have when you’re having more than one.”

I always thought that was the funniest slogan.

Dude, that stuff is nasty....almost as bad as Blatz. Well, I guess Blatz is in an area of their own. Really Bad...
By the way, Vegans can be delicious, but you should add bacon or butter, as they need more grease......

There are not too many beers that I can't drink, even if I don't care for them.
I tried the Budweiser "Chelada". The can says "The best of both worlds". It's Bud and Clamato. I could hardly get it down and it's in a 24 oz. can. Russ Walling Esq. and I agreed that it was the worst of both worlds. It didn't taste as good as Bud, nor as good as Clamato!
I did finish the whole 24 oz. Never again!

Some people really enjoy it.
Is it supposed to be like a Bloody Mary? It's not! I like Bloody Marys, especially when made with Belvedere or Grey Goose vodka.
I don't like "Chelada"!

Maybe it would be better with a couple shots of Belvedere in it, but why bother.

Belvedere.............YUM!

It's all Vegan.

I think that I am turning this into a beer thread. We need more beer threads!

This morning I tried BL Lime. It's Bud Light with lime. Now I'm not a Bud Light fan, but this actually tasted pretty good.
It's like 7UP, with a dash of salt and slight bitterness. I can see enjoying a few of these in this hot Joshua Tree climate.

Also tried another gem. West Coast I.P.A. by Green Flash Brewing Co., San Diego.
I am quite pleased with this ale. A spicy, hoppy nose. Hoppy bitterness from start to finish! 7% ABV. My kind of sh!t!

You never drank with my OL!

Her tastes are Russian style stouts and oatmeal porters.

Never catch her with a fizzy yellow beer!

One will do it though.

I just ate the most boring tacos ever
(home made), vegie, beans, etc...
I make them myself 3 or 4 nights a week
and usually I like them, but sometimes
one's own food is a yawn.
But, the moderately priced vino bianco de la casa
is nice, on ice.

Actually, never drank Schaefer beer, for some
fortuitous reason, can't get it in California, shuks.
Have a great weekend!
