on another note, amazed at how some get fired up over posting under a real name...does it really matter? as if you didn't know who you hate already....

I'm not originally from these parts. I grew up in the Midwest, but escaped a few years back. Not here long enough yet to be a local, but feel fortunate enough to have been transplanted here!

nee bee - very cool
Dragon With Matches - also very cool, when will someone adopt Born Cross-Eyed?
Buggs has been my nickname since 1982 when I taught Global Survival techniques in the military. I guess because I had a penchant for eating them...
Black ants taste like lemon-drops.
Earthworms are good if you purge the grit out of em'.
Grass hoppers taste like, you guessed it, grass. That is unless they are stir-fried in garlic butter, then they taste like chicken!!
Slugs taste like sh!t no matter how you prepare them. Eat them raw and you get their slug trail coated in your mouth that even tequila won't dissolve...
My real name is Mike.
Double D - those are hilarious and plump!

Unfortunately, if you've ever climbed with me you'd know that 'tenesmus' is basically the anxiety induced urge to poo.
I get that a lot.

I was stolen at birth by some Indians. A Chinese Trader came by and offered them a yen for me...so they started calling me yen which morphed to Lynne.
Now, the Indians knew a German fur trader whose last name was, Grosse Fuss, meaning Big Foot. GF took a liking to little yen and started calling her yen fuss....then he noticed how light on her feet she was. "Yen is Leicht on sie fuss" he would often chuckle."
Evolution occurred and over eons yen fuss became
LYNNE LEICHTFUSS
Here I thought I was named by my mother, turns out I didn't even have one.

Comes from my snowmobile racing/riding days. A snowmobile here is a snowcat or cat. Everyone else dabbled in 110 horsepower and I went to 215 in an ultralight chassis. Went some pretty wild places at some pretty wild speeds. Even put it on the plates on my pickup. Always been my e-mail address.
Folks I climb with call me burly Bob, donno though, must be my petite size, six foot and 250 lbs.

I hail from Halifax, Nova Scotia of all places but now call Vancouver home.
My buddies and I would jokingly call it Hafilax. I wanted a consistent name for message boards and thought that it would be unique enough. So far so good.

I tried variations of Joe first, but they were taken,
so, went back to when I was really little.
At one time, there were FOUR Joes in the family,in the same house on holidays,
so me youngest, Joey.
