Andy -- love the Swell!

Chiloe, What's going on in that photo?

On a December stroll in the Picos, we reached a col -- came this blast of cold wind. S braced for it but with icy footing, L was knocked down. As I took the photo S is laughing and L holding up her scarf in the wind, so the picture will show how strong the wind was.

Here’s our view looking up:

Hey Nudge Nudge,

Looks like Parfrey's but I have to go with Skillet. Right? That things has been kayaked before, crazy. Must be good shooting at both places with all the rain lately.

The third looks like Sand Island up in the Apostles? Maybe Eagle, but I'd guess Sand.

Great shots everyone!

My daughter takes a lot of great photos, and sends me the low-rez versions. Here's one from her.

Hey wiclimber,
Skillet is correct, much cooler than Parfrey's. It was taken last year. Go check out Durward's... another one right by Devil's Lake. The last picture is heading to Horseshoe Island at Peninsula SP.

While were on the topic of Wisconsin's gorges...

here's one a bit farther than the others

yo, john hansen...that is Basin Mt. The ridge that dissappears on the right side of the frame, sort of behind a tree, is Mt. Tom.
