It's still dumping @Kirkwood. A bunch of employees were evacuated from housing due to overloaded roofs. I got a room facing chairs 10 & 11. I'm watching a snowcat unbury 11 so the chairs can leave the terminal. It'll be another interesting day at The Wood. I'm not inclined to spend much time outside due to the avy danger.

Rainbow hazard alert.

But chill.
Do not panic...they are only rainbows and most aren't very large.

Just got caught up with shoveling, repenting for not having to do much of it for the last few years.

Feels like winter again, shovel, ski, shovel, shovel, ski, shovel, ski, repeat until cant move.

Ski more, get truck stuck, shovel, shovel, shovel, free truck and get home to shovel more.

In the morning, shovel the firewood, make fire, shovel truck out, ski, shovel.

Repeat, adding the shoveling out of the propane tank.

I wanna go ski some more.

“The falls are destroyed,” said Dennis. “They’re gone.”

No, they'll be back. A moronic contractor buried Rubio Canyon Falls under tons of rock many years ago. 6 years later a big storm flushed all the rock out and the falls returned.

That's just a couple miles up from where I live. Fortunately the entire area of the '82 slide was deemed uninhabitable, so no one lives there any more. When the hill goes like this it's inconvenient for anyone living past it, but no one's in danger from it.

What will Hartouni and Malamute have to complain about if this keeps up?
