why does left wing politics always boil down to gay sex?

Again, why do the less intelligent conservatives always seem to see L vs R as some sort of gay sex issue?

Tvash: Science enables us to understand, innovate, and invent.

You think. You don’t know. You have theories, models, and frameworks that define what is real. But you don’t know. It’s a good guess, don’t get me wrong. But you don’t know.

Hey Mikel, for a quick lesson in science, I suggest that you go play in traffic. It should clear your head about the material world.

Science can explain and predict religion. Religion can't explain or predict anything.

I guess that this cell phone I'm holding was built by scientific, rather than Christian, thinking. I guess that I've designed phones, multimeters, robots, and heart monitors using scientific, rather than Christian, principles.

But it's all just a guess. When someone who's never designed anything tells me I don't really know, I'm going give that evidence every speck of consideration it's due.

Perhaps you folks could say what you do know perfectly, completely, accurately. How about just one thing?

How about science? How about air? How about an atom? How about a street? How about a fly? How about a color? How about a moment in time? You choose. Pin something down, for once and for all. Show us what you absolutely know scientifically.

Surely you must know SOMETHING completely, accurately, perfectly?

Not one thing?

(DMT is going to wine that this is my “one note” as a musician. I suppose it will continue to be—until someone satisfies the request.)

There is no time limit on a response.

What you have, I believe, are theories.

I know that you cannot be convinced that anyone knows anything completely, accurately, and perfectly.

Does that count?

The state of entropy of the entire universe will always increase over time and changes in the entropy in the universe can never be negative.

what's entropy?

what's "the entire universe" there are parts of the "entire universe" which are no longer in thermal contact with other parts... so as a "universal" idea, entropy has to be limited to the causally connected parts, which means that the universe is not necessarily in equilibrium as a whole...
