G ball.. so you think people are ragging on him because he makes duck calls instead of climbing gear? Sorry, but that won't fly. People are concerned about his beliefs. Understanding that would be a good start.

The guy [ VN vet and a generton of the 60,s] did drugs [a lot], acid and was a heavy drinker, lived in a trailer, met wife still did drugs and booze, fought with wife, left wife and kids, returns, she is scared he might shoot her, takes him back, he patents duck call device, makes a few thousand, doubles that, 3X until now he is making a ton of money from his duck calls devices. Says he has a Master in education and wanted to teach but $$$$$$ change that.

Stoned, booze, most likely hit his wife as well as his kids and finds Jesus through $$$$$$$.

That’s it.

Wrote a book about his experience with life prior to $$$$$, most likely will try singing and then will come out with a exercise machine.

A friend of mine grew up in a J.W. home, and judging by the way they hid molestation and child abuse in the family from the cops would tell me Jim ain't lyin'.

There's crazy people out there, but something about JW's, it draws out the craziest. Of course there are some cool ones, but it's such a self-flaying religion that a person who screwed up SO BADLY as to over-correct might consider showing up on Sunday. No birthday, no Christmas and community/family members are disowned and ostracized regularly? Sign me up.

I worked for one of those types. It was a long 6 months till I quit. Did you ask him which kind he was sleeping with? Goats or sheep? "Hey boss, are you f*#king the Goats or the sheep?"

I use to work with a black guy who would continually posit that there were only 2 kinds of women in the world: "BITCHES AND WHORES". All women were either bitches or whores. All. No exception. He would look at a pretty girl walking by, for instance, and say: "They all bitches and hoes". I tried to argue/discuss that with him but he'd dig in and refuse to discuss the true nuances of the fairer sex. So I took to saying EVERY time I heard him say that (which was not at all uncommon) something just like this: "Really? then which one are your mom and girlfriend? I don't think my mom fits into that category, but do you really think yours does?"..LOL

It created a minor amount of friction, but nothing we couldn't get past. He later got arrested for murder and went away so our friendship never hit the rocks over it.
