Mastadon, I remember getting you drunk in the Mountain Room when you turned 30. Just turned 62 myself. How did that happen?

still many non-respondents; ironically, some of whom are highly invested in data collection themselves. Oh yeah, you know who you are, and we know who you are! Research karma, baby. As John Lennon said, "you better get yourself together. Pretty soon you're gonna be dead." (ok, that's a little harsh...maybe should have used the "hit you right in the head" line, instead)

I am 47. As a young teenager I remember walking in on my Grandfather, who was dressed up in his WWII army uniform, and him saying to me; it just seems like yesterday. He was pushing 80 at the time.

Forty this summer.

As for maturity... It sadly varies between a five year old and a really ancient worn out gal. In fact I can't tell the difference between them.

If you are wondering how much influence non-respondents may have on the median, it is probably not much, at this point. With the median at 52.5, it would take 25 people (younger than 50) to bring the median down to 50 or, similarly, 25 people (older than 55) to bring the median up to 55.

Nonetheless, would be cool to have as many people as possible represented in the histogram (I think), so I'll update it this afternoon before I leave for the land of trolls (not the internet variety...the big ones that eat people).

edit: I haven't been able to include a few folks who responded, but gave a non-specific age range (or no age) rather than a precise year. if you want me to include you, post up a specific number of years you've been around.

edit 2: you can, but don't have to be as precise as Norwegian, who just got older by .00000019 years (or thereabouts) as I typed this.
