Well I don't recall Jane Fonda ever threatening anyone with violence. And it's not just harmless words either. You never know when some kook like Jared Loughner might take a remark, like the ones Ted made, seriously and go shoot someone for real.

The SS decided that Ted is not a threat. Lots of people say crap all of the time and if it is a vague meaningless IMPOTENT threat then the SS will look at it and let it go. They are not interested in rock stars hinting that the president is not his favorite guy. They are looking for people who might actually carry out a threat.

Urmas is right, although Ted has a right to act like a turd, the better man would temper what he says when a significant segment of society pays homage to him. What the average Joe says around the campfire is taken much differently than celebrity speeches at NRA meetings.

Ted Nugent is weak sauce. He came to play at our college back in 1981 with Sammy Hagar as the back up band. I worked as a stage hand, and Sammy talked with me, asked questions, and was such a cool guy. Nugent was a arrogant prick. Sammy opened and rocked the place to the ground. Nugent got up and tried to follow Sammy, but was lame, no energy, same heavy guitar lycs, boring.
Moral of that story: Never let Sammy Hagar open a concert for you, especially if you are lame ass dick dragger like Ted Nugent.

Coachella is this weekend, so beware of traffic on the 1o fwy. Thing goes for two weekends now, last weekend wasn't too bad for traffic, but it was also cold, windy and raining.
