How can I spot scuffy out of the crowd? Or do I set up a trap with bread and beer (somewhere close to OW)?

vitaly - Naturally you wear a 50 lb pack when you attempt the OW right?

My trad partner gets back in town this weekend, and the valley looks rainy, so I'll drop you a line and maybe hit up pg this weekend.

I am not sure...if we did meet, you sure did not introduce yourself as scuffy if we did : )

SeanH, I am the weird guy with a 50lb pack on stair master thing (on some days). I still need to learn to climb OW before I put any pack on! : )

Vitaliy, I've seen you and your pack on the "stairs." I've though about joining you, since I have to train a bit, but if I go to the gym I want to climb!

No pix, but way fun gym session with Sullly today. Traffic was indeed nasty across GG Park, and the weather was fine in SF during daylight hours until just a moment ago. But there you go.

Sullly is leaps-and-bounds improving her face-climbing skillz as a new (reluctant?) convert to gym climbing. And thanks to her not letting me "forget" to suffer on it, I finally got up the easier offwidth---patient tutoring by the Wideguys pays off. Had been hand-fisting when hand-handing was the ticket. The other side, one hang; still have to figure out Scuffy's advice about how to rest.

But the real reason I'm posting is informational: we saw them actually spraying the cracks with disinfectant. Not sure if it was because they'd seen me climbing them, but a good thing to know.

When I awoke early on Sunday, I saw clear skies, couldn't psych up for the
long drive.
Spraying the cracks is not a bad idea.
Last year I had a CA-MRSA, that is, Community-acquired Staph infection
which was resistant to a number of antibiotics.
It responded to the correct one, though, so no problem.
I had acquired it either at Mt Woodson or a gym, no other possibility.
