As such, it can't possibly honour your so-called claim for rescues. Besides, how is our insurance subsidiary supposed to make any money, if it has to pay out on claims? Read the fine print! If you find yourself in a situation requiring a rescue, we suggest self-rescue: sit down, put your head between your legs, and kiss your ass goodbye. In others words, truck you, pal!

Well, Skip, I guess you haven't heard the news. People have been kind of shell-shocked, and of course the NPS has kept it pretty quiet. But if you look at the photos from say the FaceLift, Half Dome is conspicuously missing. The dog that isn't barking. (Hound of the Baskervilles.)
